Stuart moved to the Canadian Rockies from Brisbane in Australia, a place with very few mountains and very little evidence that Winter was a proper season. Having decided a life spent exploring the outdoors was much more enjoyable than being an accountant, Stuart has come to Canada to enjoy the beauty of its landscapes, animals and seasonal activities. In his spare time, you can catch Stuart hiking up a mountain, taking photos of wildlife, or falling off his snowboard.

Hailing from Windsor Ontario, Ian Virtue traded his fields of corn and soy for the Rocky Mountains of Banff National Park.
Despite the flat terrain of his native city, Ian finds himself most at home in places where the horizon is hidden by the mountains. With two trips to the Nepalese Himalayas under his belt, he finds his passion in photographing places off the beaten path. Whether it be towering mountains, or dense jungles, Ian seeks to inspire with every photo he takes.
“We each get one trip. One opportunity to see everything this world has to offer. One opportunity to leave this place better than when we arrived. I know I don’t want to waste a single moment.”
Currently working for Banff Photography as a photographer at the Chateau Lake Louise, Ian can be found in his free time exploring the various wonders the Canadian Rockies have to offer.
